Follow this 8-step process to rid your life of AOL.

1) An individual must confess, own up to the mountain of evidence that AOL is a poor service.

2) An individual forsakes his or her misdeeds and removes them from his or her thoughts. (don't feel guilty or dumb for being an AOL member)

3) Keep yourself far away from the things that caused your AOL lameness.
(avoid the idiots that talked you into using AOL in the first place)

4) An individual who is challenged, who faces and confronts the same
situation in which he or she stumbled and has at hand the possibility to
commit that misdeed again. (have faith in people that are smarter  and better than you, stick with an ISP)

5) Transgressions between an individual and another are never forgiven until you reconcile your debt and appease your friend. (Visit News Groups and tell everyone you dumped AOL and love your new ISP)

6) It is exceedingly praiseworthy for an individual to confess in public and acknowledge making his or her sins known to others. (admit you used to be an ignorant AOLamer)

7) The Real Internet desires that individuals have free choice and be
responsible for their actions without being forced. (don't fear freedom or simple Terms of Service)

8) The one who surfs the Net with skill. . . and walks in the pathway of
wisdom. Owes his or her fellow man the same. (Pass on your superior ISP
   knowledge to AOLamers)
